Today, I am grateful for my home gym. Six months before covid hit in the spring of 2020, I decided that I wanted to build out a home gym for weightlifting and cardio. I had plenty of space in my unfinshed basement and I got started with a squat rack, barbell, and an assortment of free weights. Later, in the middle of the COVID crisis, I ordered a Concept 2 rower, a couple of gymnastics mats, and I have picked up various other items along the way. I use my home gym nearly every day and I am in far better shape today than I was 18 months ago. For my home gym, I am grateful.
